ergon Datenprojekte - The Story
The story of ergon Datenprojekte GmbH began on July 1st 1998 with the establishment of the Breitkreuz&Triebsch GbR, located in Hamburg-Barmbek, Germany.
On November 11th 1998, a change of name took place; from Breitkreuz&Triebsch GbR to ergon Datenprojekte GmbH. New office premises were taken up in the Holstenkamp 1 in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel in that same year. At the beginning of 1999, the company counted five employees and one trainee. The recruitment of this staff enabled us to master the so-called “millennium challenge” within the IT-industry, changing the clients’ Y2K-date.
In the years 2000/2001, ergon Datenprojekte GmbH successfully established itself as a system house within the regional northern German market, now offering a complete spectrum of IT-services. As of January 31st 2002, the company had grown to a staff of 12 employees and two further trainees. During the course of 2003 and yet another company expansion, emphasis was lain on the core competences of consulting and development as well as focusing the target group of large-scale enterprises.
To accommodate the continual dynamic growth of the company and the increasingly enlarging international constituency, a second company location was opened in London in April 2006.
We are proud of our company’s continual positive development: We now note the year 2013 where the Executive Board, consisting of Siegfried Breitkreuz and Daniel Kresin, as well as 30 employees at our Hamburg and London locations look forward to the future with boundless energy.
